Hey there! Pleased to make your acquaintance, let me introduce myself.

I’m a teenager who used to worry constantly about environmental and social issues, from the age of, hey, about six.

Pictures of melting ice with comically worried-looking polar bears can do that to a kid.

But pretty soon, I worked out that where there is a problem, there’s a solution, right? Aged six, I rounded up gangs of friends and made everybody pick litter in the forest, now I organise tree-planting events and convince schools to recycle.  I bet there’s a whole lot more I can do, and I want you to give me your ideas and maybe take a look at mine. Also, I love writing tips because improving rocks. I’m not so keen on growing up, because with it seems to come a sort of hand-in-hand cynicism which I can feel creeping up on me. Also bills.

Anymore about me? I live in Europe, I’m still at school, and I hate multiple exclamation marks because the writer looks like an evil person of the AH-har-har!!! sort. I’m also the editor of my school newspaper. (I spend a lot of time weeding out exclamation marks).

I love to hear your thoughts on everything I’ve written. For the sake of starting a useful conversation, please use language your mum would be OK with. Constructive criticism is great, as is grammar. I answer all comments.

  1. Thanks for visiting my site. Decades ago I was a little kid worried about the environment. After all, when I was little, the Cuyahoga River caught on fire–not a good thing. Now I’m an adult, still concerned about the environment, and shocked that so little has been done. (Still, I have to remind myself and give thanks that things have been done, and that things aren’t even worse, because of it.)

    1. You’re right, of course- I’m also glad that things have been and are being done. But I think that the main problem, still, is public recognition of global warming and the environment. Thanks for your comment!

  2. I love your view about multiple exclamation marks!!!! They suck!!! They make everything too much!!!
I love you enthusiasm. We need more like you to change this world and put the selfish mentality to rest!
    Much respect – Opher
